What is Business Networking?

Business networking is a social networking group which helps develop connections with other business minded people, ranging from managers to entrepreneurs and in many different business sectors.  The main principle of a business networking group is to create future potential leads and form mutually beneficial business relationships.

Business networking is also a gateway for leveraging connections, helping to build on existing business contacts you may have. Optimising your resources can, in time, develop your company, helping it to grow. Networking is important and assists in getting you and your company name recognised in many business spheres.

Business networking groups often hold events and regular meetings that engage all members to share information and tips and promote their business to an open audience.

Business networking allows you to learn how other companies work, enhance your reputation or potentially collaborate. This in turn enhances the growth of your company. Building trust and authenticity can help others who were perhaps in your shoes once, putting you in good stead going further forward in your business. It is always important to have a networking goal and choosing the right networking group for your needs.  Some business networking groups only cater for strictly making business connections, whereas others cater for learning and forming contacts.

How can you benefit from The Business Agenda?

The Business Agenda is a business networking group in Market Harborough. The event is held every third Tuesday of the month from 5pm to 6:30pm at the Harborough Innovation Centre. Topics covered vary from event to event but are in the general interest of local business owners. All sectors in business are welcome. This includes marketing, PR, finance, and funding and management, to name but a few.

The event also holds a spotlight session, where a local company focuses on their business and how others may benefit from their services. This is a great form of advertising and brand awareness to the local community. You get to see the real passion behind the concept of what they are trying to achieve or, if you’re giving the talk, you get a great chance to demonstrate your own passion for your business.

The Business Agenda networking group facilitates all forms of communication. This includes a question and answer session over a free tea or coffee, creating a pleasant atmosphere to form new connections. If you own a business or are looking for advice, the Business Agenda is a safe environment to seek the information you require and, most importantly, to learn and connect.

The Business Agenda networking group has members from a range of local businesses, from solicitors, accountants and marketing companies to I.T and technical companies and many more.
